We ended 2020 in the hope that 2021 would herald the light at the end of the tunnel, but alas, the way the new year has started is more like the quote ‘it’s always darkest before it goes pitch black’, which by the way is a saying that has been attributed to an interesting range of people, including Chairman Mao, the US politician John McCain and, my favourite, Hannibal from the A Team.

However, when it comes to TA teams (yes, the cheesiest link ever), we’ve decided that it’s time to emerge from the darkness and shine a big bright spotlight on the very best of them.
For those of us that remember, the A Team were famous for their ingenuity in adversity and the world of in-house recruiting and talent acquisition has ample opportunity to demonstrate those same qualities.
For some, there have been exciting opportunities to have a greater impact than ever before. For others, the last year has been an existential threat to their businesses and they have been forced to adapt and transform.
Personally, I have always been a great believer that people and teams do their best work when they are faced with their biggest challenges.
At TALiNT Partners we decided it was the perfect time to evolve our established TIARA awards programme to recognise and celebrate those in-house teams who have truly shone.
The TIARA awards have become the byword for excellence and innovation in service delivery for staffing firms, RPO’s and Talent Tech providers and the Talent Acquisition TIARAs will do the same for the UK’s best employers.
So, for the last few months we have been busy designing an awards campaign that will not only achieve this but will give meaningful feedback, not just to the winners but to all the finalists.
It’s my pleasure to announce that the Talent Acquisition TIARAs are now open
We have a cracking line up of high-profile industry judges, who will use their incredible breadth of experience and insight to help recognise great work.
The Awards categories offer recognition of excellence across all areas of talent acquisition, with a focus on critical resourcing activities that have driven transformation and organisational effectiveness and it’s very straightforward to enter.
We will capture some of the best and most innovative work you have been doing and share this in our winners supplement of TALiNT Intentional.
And we are confident that we will be celebrating in-person at rather nice terrace of the IET in London on the 30h June. Wouldn’t that be nice.
To quote Hannibal from the A Team again, I love it when a plan comes together.
We’d love you to get involved and you can find more information and enter below.
