Judges’ Comment: The judges were impressed with how Essex County Council’s Entry to Work Team drove change and took a holistic approach to bringing in all types of early talent and how it’s now embedded in their day to day running.

Judges’ Comment: Abcam were praised by our judges for executing multiple initiatives with strong collaboration across departments as well as highlighting what they will do to develop and continuously push forward.

Judges’ Comment: Vodafone were praised for their robust thinking and demonstrating the value of leveraging tech effectively at scale.

Judges’ Comment: Judges praised Direct Line Group for their imaginative campaign demonstrating real proactivity and clear focus on the candidate experience.

Judges’ Comment: Judges praised Wren Kitchens for their innovative use of video material, making available different options for subtitles, transcripts, colour and sound to cater for a diverse audience.

Judges’ Comment: The judges praised Specsavers for a comprehensive campaign shaped around creative messaging, audience targeting, developing the perception of working at Specsavers and for showcasing opportunities for development.

Judges’ Comment: The judges looked at several factors when deciding the overall winner including: an ability to design and deliver innovation, a focus on DE&I, social mobility and community engagement. The judges were unanimous in their view that that Direct Line Group had comprehensively demonstrated all those aspects in the portfolio of metrics led work they entered.
